Notes: Computational linguistics
Just before the beginning of the new academic year, Natalie Karlova-Burbonus from the Justus-Liebig University (Giessen, Germany) will read a lecture and hold two master classes.
August 26 (Wednesday): 11:00-13.00. Open lecture “Compiling of the oral speech corpus: basic principles” (Room 206)
August 27 (Thursday).
- 11: 00-13.00. Master Class “Compiling and transcribing the oral speech corpus with EXMARaLDA” (Room 100)
- Coffee break (room 430)
- 14: 00-16: 00. Master Class “Python and NLTK for text processing” (Room 100)
There are computers for master classes on-site, but the participants may come with their laptops and install the necessary software.
Meeting place: United Institute of Informatics Problems of NAS of Belarus (Surhanava str., 6). Participation is free.
