First announcement: 2nd Eastern Partnership E-infrastructures Conference in Minsk, September


Organized by the EaPConnect project, the 2nd Eastern Partnership E-infrastructure Conference, EaPEC 2017, will be hosted by UIIP NASB (BASNET) in Minsk, Belarus, on 27-28 September 2017.

Policy makers, researchers, students and experts on networking and high performance computing for research and education from EaP countries and all over the world are welcome to register.

As part of the EaPConnect project’s goal to interconnect the research and education communities in the EU and Eastern Partnership regions, EaPEC 2017 will support community building and serve as a platform for collaboration on policy and research, with a focus on e-infrastructures for Open Science.

EaPEC 2017 will feature:

– a keynote speaker from the flagship Human Brain Project;

– presentations and discussions about research and e-infrastructures for open science;

– presentations of the second regional Enlighten Your Research awards (details for entry to be announced soon).
