The\u00a0activities on the coordination of Research and Development in our organization and in our country, which are\u00a0carried out by our\u00a0laboratory in the scientific,\u00a0technological and innovation policy areas and adopted by our organization,\u00a0are highlighted below.<\/span><\/p>\n From 2006 to 2007 our\u00a0laboratory\u00a0was the coordinator of the research work (RW) on\u00a0“The development of Multi-Voice and Multi-Language Text-to-Speech (TTS) and Speech-to-Text (STT) Conversion System (Languages: Belarusian, Polish, Russian)” within the framework of the international project INTAS Ref. Nr 04-77-7404. The research resulted in the creation of multilingual speech resources (for Belarusian, Polish and Russian) and\u00a0a multivoice acoustic database. As scientific and practical results,\u00a0multilingual TTS synthesis\u00a0methods and algorithms, voice cloning technology,\u00a0speech recognition\u00a0methods and algorithms were developed,\u00a0and\u00a0a number of prototypes were created.<\/span><\/p>\n From 2011 to 2012 the\u00a0laboratory was the coordinator of the RW on “Yakut TTS\u00a0Synthesizer\u00a0and phonetic database for the vocational rehabilitation of\u00a0visually impaired people.” Under the agreement \u2116 214\/61 with North-Eastern Federal University in Yakutsk, for the first time in the world, the\u00a0Yakut computer-based TTS system providing synthesis with\u00a0male or female voice\u00a0was created.<\/span><\/p>\n From\u00a02011 to\u00a02012 the lab research workers\u00a0Yu.Hetsevich S.Hetsevich with the participation of\u00a0Ya.Yakubovich (Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain) have developed a\u00a0Belarusian\u00a0module for the\u00a0NooJ\u00a0\u00a0linguistic\u00a0software\u00a0(http:\/\/www.nooj4nlp.net\/pages\/belarusian.html<\/a><\/u>).
